Rory primarily utilizes play and art-based approaches paired with techniques from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She recognizes that parents are vital supports in supporting their children’s mental health and works closely with parents to support them in developing skills and knowledge to support their child best!

Rory has always had a passion for working with children and adolescents, which is displayed through her dedication to each of her clients. Rory believes it is a privilege to walk alongside children, teenagers and families during both the struggles and celebrations that define us.

In Rory’s free time, you can find her exploring the community with her dog Arlo, going to concerts, reading or curled up on the couch planning her next vacation somewhere.

Many Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Ontario Autism Program (OAP) funding and extended health care plans will cover services rendered by A Registered Social Worker.

I’m a very down-to-earth, easy-going guy from the East coast. During my time off you can find me hiking through lush forests, capturing the beauty of nature through photography, tossing a frisbee with friends, and occasionally immersing myself in the world of video games. My connection with nature and the enjoyment I find in life’s simple pleasures shape my therapeutic philosophy. For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with children in various capacities, which includes serving as a director of a summer camp, leading experiential education programs for youth and Child Welfare. These experiences have provided me with invaluable insights into the challenges young individuals and families face. In therapy, I embrace a flexible approach that’s tailored to your child’s unique needs and preferences. I draw from a diverse set of therapeutic modalities, including Emotional Focused Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
